Looks We Love! Chanel Iman at Coachella

Spring and Summer is the time for outdoor concerts and festivals amongst other things, and hence some of the best in casual Spring fashion.  Chanel Iman was spotted at the Coachella Music festival in this adorable and appropriate ensemble.

I was on the fence about the Alexander Wang Aline T Strap sandals, but after seeing them impeccably styled on Kelly Rowland, Rihanna, and now Chanel Iman, I have really grown to like them.

Rita Ora's style is pretty much hit or miss for me; however, she proved to be the fashion star at Elle's Women in Music celebration last week.  The British beauty paired a black and white YSL mullet cut frock with a black wide brimmed hat and her signature red lip.  Meanwhile, at the MTV Movie Awards one of our fashion favorites, Kerry Washington was spotted in a peplum mullet cut dress from the Michael Kors Fall 2013 line.  Kerry's look could have been improved with a sleeker shoe, a strappy sandal or classic pointed toe pump perhaps.  Let's see what other celebs will don the mullet dress look next.

Shorts are a staple Spring/Summer item, but this season we are seeing shorts with pesonality in varied textures, fabrics, patterns, and colors.  You can also take a page from Rihanna's book and style your athletic shorts with dressier heels and accessories like she did with the Christian Louboutin Pigalle's and the Tom Ford metallic sandals.  Or, you can pair your shorts with a blazer to make a chic Spring time short suit like Kourtney's.

Looks We Love

Some of our favorite celebs were spotted this past week looking stylish as ever.  Eudoxie (Ludacris' girlfriend) and Keshia Knight Pulliam's shoes are to die for at a Final Four event hosted by Ludacris in Atlanta this weekend.  Kelly Rowland did a very chic rendition of a female tuxedo at a performance this past Thursday.  What do you think?
